Information Collected
As far as practicable, we only collect your information directly from you, the employee. We only collect personal information about you that is reasonably necessary for us to provide you quality products or services, and/or to consider your enquiries and/or applications regarding our services, such as:
- Salary packaging;
- Novated car leasing; and
- card and other services.
The personal information we may collect to identify you includes your name, contact details, date of birth and address. For our salary packaging and novated car leasing services, we will use your salary packaging and related fringe benefit tax (FBT) details and bank account BSB/account number.
How We Use Information
We only use and disclose personal information about you for the purpose for which it was disclosed to us or related purposes which would reasonably be expected without your permission. For example, we may from time to time use your personal information to inform you of related services that we expect may be of interest to you. However, we do respect your right to ask us not to do this. We do not provide any personal information to other organisations to allow them to do this. We may disclose personal information to service providers who provide services to your employer (for example, an outsourced payroll service).
Information Security
We use high level security procedures and the latest technology to protect the information we hold. Access to and use of personal information within GO Salary is appropriately limited. This prevents misuse or unlawful disclosure of the information. If other organisations provide support services to us (eg. car leasing), we require them to safeguard the privacy of the information provided to them to the highest level. Where the personal information we collect is no longer required we delete the information or de-identify it.
Accessing Your Information
Please contact us to request access to your information. In normal circumstances we will give you full access to your information. However, if there are some legal or administrative reasons to deny access, you will be advised. We will provide you the reason why access is denied.
Online
If you visit the GO Salary websites to browse, read or download information, our system will log these movements. These web site logs are not personally identifiable. If you visit the GO Salary website to log into our secure areas, we use cookies to enable us to identify you. This is for security reasons only, and the cookie is deleted when you shut down your web browser and is not stored on your computer’s hard drive.
Your account information is password protected, so please do not divulge your password to anyone. To further protect your personal information, your log-in time will automatically expire after a certain period of inactivity.
All GO Salary websites and logins are encrypted using SSL security certificates.
Mobile Apps
If you use our GO Salary mobile app, it will provide limited secure access to some of the details previously mentioned as per the respective products or services that are supported by that app. In addition your Mobile Device ID may be collected as a record of any changes made.
